Avarcas are a traditional footwear of Menorca, Spain, originally created over 100 years ago for farmers working the islands lands in the dry summer heat. Crafted from natural leathers and recycled car tyres, they were designed to keep farmers feet dry, comfortable and protected in all conditions.

Each Avarca is carefully handcrafted by our shoe artisans in our small workshops in Menorca and carries the stamp of Authenticity from the Menorcan government, guaranteeing the quality of the production and materials.
